"See My Saviour" MV
5-MIN MUSIC VIDEO, PROPS MASTER
An artist's expression of The Artist.
We attempted to capture the likeness of an artist in his element – surrounded by an organised mess of paint, colours, art paraphernalia. The entire set was built from scratch within a multi-purpose hall, including the flooring which we rigged with laminate.

CORPORATE MULTI-PURPOSE HALL TO HIDDEN ARTIST STUDIO
A total set transformation easily tops my list of favourite ways to dress a set.
With the See My Saviour set, our moodboard consisted of mostly haunted houses and abandoned workshops... needless to say we caught glimpses of some truly terrifying—and unnecessary— visuals along the way. Thankfully, the set we were tasked with building had more to do with a creative, *slightly* messy artist's hidden studio, and less with sending chills down spines.
There were multiple layers to the production of this set:
First, we had to keep the MPH in its pristine condition, so we started with a layer of tarp to catch any accidental drips.
Then, we had to create a convincing workshop floor, for which we had a lot of help—piece by piece, the VA Film guys laid laminate flooring in exact and precise configurations—to create a seamless hardwood floor.
Next, the guys set up black cloth on C-stands to contain the set.
Finally, we set up our custom-made table, as well as erected trusses, ladders and fake walls (someone printed bricks and cut them out piece by piece to create a brick pillar) to add structural integrity to the set and to create the sense that this was a contained space (not a corporate meeting room!).
And that’s when we started creating the organised mess (and really having fun). This is easily one of my favourite sets to date!
While snippets of this set has been featured in parts of a larger campaign (whatever is shown here), the official music video still has not been released. Looking forward to that!
